STANDING ON GOD’S STANDARD

Our Father in the Lord has declared this month prophetically as the month of Rebirth, Growth and Moving Forward.
God has done His own part by releasing the prophetic word to us, we must not see to it that we do our own part.
Birth, growth and advancement is already a reality in the realms over us but we must contend to see them manifest in our time and season.
Birthing requires travailing, growth requires change and advancement requires force and application of pressure!!!
One of the most effective ways of the standing on the sure word of prophecy is by operating through the standard of God, not ours.
The adversary will not just stand by and see us birth dimensions that will frustrate his mission, he will not stand by and see us grow into the destiny God has ordained for us, he will not just allow us to advance into God’s Promises for us….. A prophetic sign was given in Revelations when the woman was about to birth a man child and the dragon stood by to devour the child… but a standard was lifted up against the dragon.
Scripture tells us in Isaiah 59:19
“So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.”

Scripture says “WHEN the enemy shall come in..” not “IF”
It means the enemy will always attempt to temper with God’s program for our lives. But we have an insurance policy: THE STANDARD THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD LIFTS UP AGAINST HIM.
The Standard of God has become the all time immunity to the influences and works of the darkness against us. We are right to call it the standard of God because it is God Himself, through His Spirit, who instituted it.
What is then is the Standard Of God?
The Standard of God is the formation Christ Nature in mankind!!!
Our Father in the Lord taught us extensively about the fullness of God and the Nature of Christ or Love and how it operates through the fruits of the Spirit, against which the scripture expressly affirms; THERE’S NO LAW!!!!
(Galatians 5:22-23).

When the enemy of our rebirth, our growth and our advancement will come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will LIFT UP GOD’S STANDARD against him.
Our stand in life should always be on God’s Standard because in it is the guarantee for entering into the fulfilment of all God has ordained for us!!
The fight of the enemy in this last days is against our full stance on God’s Standard. If he can sweep us off God’s Standard, then he can achieve his dark plans. We must take a stand on a God’s Standard always!!!
To take a stand on God’s Standard is to allow the Spirit of God to lead us at all times because it is the Spirit of the Lord that lifts up the standard not us.
On our own, we cannot lift up the standard or keep the standard or stand on the standard…at best….we fall below the standard!!!
But the Spirit of the Lord is the helper and the lifter of the standard of God against the enemy’s devices.
It’s why scripture gives us the attributes of the Standard by using the source of the Standard (God) as a role model for us to understand properly.
Isaiah 59:15-17 reveals this by telling us that;
15 Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
17 For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloke.
When God saw that there’s no man or intercessor, HIS ARM (His SPIRIT) brought salvation and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS (HIS CHRIST) sustained him..
How?
By putting on the components the makes up the Standard of God, according to Verse 17, which are;
1. Righteousness
2. Salvation
3. Garments of vengeance
4. Zeal
This very things were evident in the life of Christ while He was on earth as man. This were His very nature. Even when the enemy came in like a flood against Him in His ministry while on earth, the enemy FOUND NOTHING IN HIM because the Spirit of the Lord lift up a standard against the enemy!!!!

Paul understood and told us to be in strong in the Lord and in the power of His Might by putting on the Whole Amour of God.
The components of the whole amour of God are what makes up the Standard of God
1. The belt of truth
2. The breastplate of righteousness
3. The helmet of salvation
4. The shield of faith
5. The feet that proclaims the gospel of peace
6. The Sword of the Spirit
7. Prayer
The formation of Christ in us is and through us is likened to the armour of God that resists the enemy and puts him to flight
The formation of Christ in us is the formation of the whole armour of God. To put on Christ also means to put on the whole amour of God!!!!
All these are produced effortlessly through the fruits of the Spirit. This is the standard of God that puts the enemy to flight and denies Him legal access to us.
As we engage the Prophetic Word this season through Rebirth, Growth and Moving Forward let us stand on God’s Standard and watch the Spirit lift us up above every limitations of the enemy!!!!!!
ETERNAL FATHER WE THANK YOU FOR YOUR SPIRIT IN US THAT HAS GRANTED US ACCESS TO BE PARTAKERS OF THE INHERITANCE OF THE SAINTS IN THE LIGHT
SUSTAIN US BY YOUR ARM AND RIGHTEOUSNESS THROUGH THE FULLNESS OF YOUR SPIRIT IN US!!!!
