VIEWING TRUE INCREASE THROUGH THE EYES OF GOD

To view is to see, to see is to know, to know is to understand and right understanding births right functioning.
The Bible teaches us that it is God that gives increase. Man can plant, man can water, man can device schemes, man can watch over a city, man can prepare the horse for the day of battle…..but in the end it is God that allows increase.
There’s a huge difference between what God considers as increase and what many consider as increase.
Increase comes in different forms and ways. Increase can be negative or positive depending on the nature of the seed planted. For instance increase in good health or bad health, increase in strength, increase in riches, increase in preservation, e.t.c
Whatever seed of thought, word and action one plants, man reaps. It is a basic principle. Harvest can be plenty, it can be few but the key focus is to know that God is that one that determines the increase of the harvest.

There are certain increase that comes in our lives that we celebrate but in reality are nothing but a caricature of what God considers as true increase.
That is why we must learn to see increase through the eyes of God not the eyes of men. To see increase through eyes of God simply means to acknowledge what the scripture captures as increase. The scripture is the eyes of God that gives us insight into the mind of God.
And so we would be using sayings of God through John to the Laodicean Church to understand this better, as God helps us.
It is written in
Revelation 3:14-18
14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Hear this;
Any increase that make us to need God less is no increase at all.
No matter the nature, form or kind our increase takes, if it stands the way of needing God more and more, it is a ticking time bomb.
This is the root cause of lukewarmness in many today. They refused to view increase from the lens of God.
Many of us are like the Laodicean Church, viewing increase from a perspective that is of lesser importance.
We say we are increased in goods and have need of nothing (even God) and this puts us in a wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked position before God.
What men call increase is no increase at all. That is why true increase is increase in the knowledge of God.
TRUE INCREASE IS INCREASE IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD.
It is the knowledge of God that causes us to increase rightly on all other sides.
Christ speaking tells the Laodicean Church to buy of Him Gold that is tried in the fire.
Gold that is tried in the fire is a prophetic picture of increase that lasts and endures the test of time. The fire there is affliction, trials and tribulation.
Man can increase in wealth, in riches, in health, in wisdom but if that increase is not sourced through the knowledge of God, it will not abide forever but will be destroyed in the fire of trials.
The knowledge of God is the only Gold tried in the fire and comes out purer.
The white raiment is a prophetic picture of the preservation/defence the knowledge of God gives to all who increases in it.
That is why Ecclesiastes 7:12 confirms the excellency of Wisdom over Money saying;
For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.
Does that mean money(riches, influence) is not good? NO
They are both defences but we are expected to prioritize the principal things over the minor thing.

Anointing our eyes with eye salves is a prophetic picture allowing the Word of God which is light to gain entrance and flood the eyes of our heart with understanding.
The eye salve is the commandments of God.
Psalms 19:8 expressly says:
The statutes of the LORDare right, rejoicing the heart:
The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
PARADA KUVENDI
Let us not see increase from the laodicean point of view but from God’s of view.
In this season many will be under all kinds of pressure because of their view of what increase is and as a result they will run into lukewarmness unknowingly. The implication of this is that even that which they considered increase will be destroyed in the fire because it is not gold.
Yes it glitters but it is not gold.
MAY THE LORD KEEP ON NEEDING HIM MORE AND MORE WITH EVERY INCREASE HE GIVES US THIS SEASON AND ALWAYS!!!!!
