THE ANASTASIS
(RESURRECTION)

Happy Easter to you family.
This season is a reminder of the eternal Gift of God to the whole of creation with the salvation of man as the central focus.
ANASTASIS is the Greek word that means three things;
1. Resurrection from the dead.
2. A rebirth.
3. The recovery of a spiritual truth lost.
The Life, Death, Burial and Resurrection of Christ is the very reflection of ANASTASIS!!!!
The resurrection from the dead brings us the spiritual rebirth of man and the whole creation. This is made possible by the testimony of Jesus who Himself is the resurrection and the life as scripture clearly tells us in;
John 11:25
“Jesus said unto her, I AM THE RESURRECTION, AND THE LIFE: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live”
Hear this;
Jesus didn’t just rise from the dead, but He is the embodiment of the Resurrection Himself
And He went on to ask in John 11:26
“and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”
This reveals a deep truth to us about the significance of ANASTASIS.
The very embodiment of Jesus is that of spiritual rebirth and restoration of the lost sons of God. And through His resurrection from the dead physically He able to set a seal to this testimony for eternity!!¡!!!!

What a glorious gift this is from the Father of Light Himself.
1st Peter 1:3-5 puts it this way
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath BEGOTTEN us again unto a lively hope by the RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
GOD BEGOT US AGAIN BY JESUS(THE RESURRECTION AND LIFE)
Through the fall of man, we lost the right to sonship but through Christ Jesus we were restored back into sonship through spiritual rebirth…….THIS IS THE ANASTASIS!!!!!!!
The resurrection of Christ from the dead physically is a confirmation of the prophetic program of God’s Will for mankind.
So it is impossible for Christ to remain dead physically in the grave, His resurrecting physically is a testament of the legitimacy of the promises and victory God has purchased for us!!!!!

Therefore let us in this season be conscious of God’s Gift to us through Christ and walk in the newness of life, in the realities of the resurrection..the ANASTASIS!!!!!
Romans 6 : 3 – 6 reveals to us that;
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in NEWNESS OF LIFE.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the LIKENESS OF HIS RESURRECTION:
6 knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, THAT HENCEFORTH WE SHOULD NOT SERVE SIN.
That is why our Father in the Lord taught us that one of the things that God has given us victory over is SIN. He mentioned seven things;
1. Victory over sin
2. Victory over Satan(wicked spirits)
3. Victory over death
4. Victory over hell
5. Victory over the grave
6. Victory over the world
7. Victory over the flesh
These are the benefits of the ANASTASIS!!!!!!!
Ephesians 5:1-2 clearly bids us that:
1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2 and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
🗣️BE FOLLOWERS OF GOD BY THE DEMONSTRATION OF LOVE!!!!
Many might treat this season lightly and carelessly because they are blind and ignorant.
They might use this season as an opportunity to engage in all sorts of orgies and filthiness to satisfy ungodly appetites in the guise of celebration.
But for you it is different because you understand the ANASTASIS and what is required.
Ephesians 5:8-11 reveals what is required by saying:
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: WALK AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT:
9 (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10 proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

🗣️WALK AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT, AS THE FRUITS OF RESURRECTION, AS THE ONES BEGOTTEN THROUGH THE ANASTASIS OF JESUS!!!!!!!
This is the core crux of our Faith is important we reflect on the deep significance of this season and continue in the perfect Will of God for us.
ETERNAL FATHER WE THANK YOU FOR THE ANASTASIS YOU HAVE GIFTED US THROUGH CHRIST JESUS.
EMPOWER US TO WALK CONSCIOUSLY AS THOSE BEGOTTEN INTO LIVELY HOPE AGAIN THROUGH CHRIST JESUS!!!!!
THANK YOU O FATHER OF GLORY!!!!!!
