UNDERSTANDING THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN THE BLESSING AND THE FRUITS OF THE BLESSING

This season as we build according the standard of God by bringing men into the fullness of God through the knowledge of Christ, the Holy Ghost through the scriptures will be giving us indepth insight into the difference between THE BLESSING OF THE LORD AND THE FRUITS OF THE BLESSING OF THE LORD.

There’s indeed a difference between the Blessing of the Lord and the fruits of the Blessing of the Lord.
Scripture gave us a glimpse in Proverbs 10:22 saying;
“The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich,
And he addeth no sorrow with it”
The blessings is what produces(makes) riches, riches(prosperity)is not the blessing, it is one of the fruits of the blessing. And the guarantee is that the fruit of the blessing has no trace of sorrow attached to it.
(Read this again)
This is one of the ways to identify thr fruits of the blessings that comes from the Lord and blessings that is not from the Lord.
By riches here, we mean prosperity and prosperity comes in different forms, however it is still clear through the lens of scripture that prosperity is not the blessing but a fruit of the blessing.
Many who are ignorant of this have confused the fruits of the blessing with the blessing itself and herein lies the deception of the enemy, the very thing that has prevented many from attaining the fullness of Christ.
If riches are not the blessing but a fruit of the blessing, what then is the blessing?
To understand this, we must go back to the Genesis of all things and begin to build from there.
God speaking to Abraham in Genesis 22:16-18
16 and said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
17 that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
18 and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
The Blessing is a person and that person is the seed of Abraham, which is not Isaac, Jacob, David but………….CHRIST JESUS!!!!
Scripture says;
THY SEED, not SEEDS
Let’s analyse the content of this timeless Words here;
Firstly;
I will multiply thy seed as the stars of heaven and sands upon the seashore. This also prophetically means that God through Abraham revealed His plan of making the entire creation and creature to conform to the image of Christ His Son, as Paul says in (Romans 8:28).
It is a merging of all things as one in Christ Jesus till we all attain unity of faith. For it is oneness or unity that makes God to command the blessing (Psalms 133:1-3).
Secondly;
“Your seed(not seeds) shall possess the gates of his(not their) enemies makes it clear that the Seed is a singular entity not plural entity.
To possess means to exercise ownership or Lordship…..and so it is written that the Lord said to my Lord sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your foot stool.
Thirdly;
“In thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed” tells us that in CHRIST JESUS all nations can have access to all spiritual blessings. It is important to also note that In Christ Jesus all nations are one. Christ is the fullness of all that fills all in all (Ephesians 1:23).

And so CHRIST JESUS is the BLESSING spoken of. He is the very fulfilment and embodiment of the blessing!!!!!!
Christ Jesus is the Seed of Abraham God is referring to when God released the blessing on Abraham. It was this Blessing that made Abraham prosper in all his ways.
Scripture speaking in Ephesians 1:3 says expressly;
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ”
IN CHRIST GOD HAS BLESSED US WITH ALL SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS!!!!
IN ABRAHAM’S SEED(CHRIST) ALL THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH ARE BLESSED!!!!

So the blessing is Spiritual. Which means that it is not seen and can only accessed by the Spirit of God through Christ Jesus.
It is CHRIST JESUS now that makes all men prosper without sorrow attached to it hence the blessing of the Lord maketh rich and adds no sorrow to it.
Many have not been able to distinguish between the blessing and the fruits of the blessing and so they have been mislead by the counterfeit prosperity offered by the enemy.
If the enemy can transform in himself to an angel of light then he can also replicate the blessing and make one rich…only that sorrow is the end game of his own counterfeit blessing.
So many scriptures are clear about the end of the wicked.
And so God has given us the privilege to grow and be filled with all the fullness of Christ (the blessing) so that we can access true riches.
The blessing is the true vine and we are the branches and through constant connection we will bear the fruits of the blessing.
No tree bears fruit without constant watering and in this context, the watering is obedience to the voice of God. The very thing that commanded the blessing in the first place.
And watering requires patience for the fruits to mature. For the blessing to manifest its fruit, patience is a key ingredients and that is why one of the fruit of the Spirit is patience.
Obeying the voice of God through His Word, through His Gifts in the body, through His Counsels and knowledge of His Christ.
DON’T CHASE THE FRUITS OF THE BLESSINGS, CHASE THE FULLNESS OF THE BLESSING INSTEAD!!!!

There are many who are pressured into all kinds of lifestyles because they are not aware of the knowledge of the Son of God that is able to make them prosper without sorrow attached to it.
Many men of God seek power without the power source and become workers of Iniquity instead of workers of righteousness.
Many young men and young girls have joined diverse kinds of scamming schemes and prostitution in order to get the the fruit of the blessing which is a counterfeit.
Many people are easily deceived by results without knowing the origin of the results.
A generation that seeks the fruits of the blessing without acknowledging the blessing himself.
And the danger of this is that the enemy will use their desperation to trap them with counterfeit results. The implication of this is that the true riches or fruits meant for them will be hijacked and sorrow becomes the end result……..GOD FORBID!!!!!!!

There a need to water the Blessing of the Lord in us into maturity until we are filled. It is the fullness that will produce fruits.
Having Christ is already very expression of the Blessing of the Lord because through Him, there are diverse kinds of multiplications, there is victory over the gates of our enemies and many others are made partakers of the divine nature, to receive all that pertains to life and godliness.

How then will God multiply the blessing as the stars of heaven,as the sands upon the sea shore and make many partaker of His divine nature?
It is true our obedience to His Voice.
And His voice already is calling us to GO YE AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS….🔥😃
The blessing is meant for the whole of Creation as was the plan with Adam before the fall.
Adam was to water the blessing within him until he attain the fullness of God and become a channel through which God will bless all nations…..but he was intercepted due to disobedience to the voice/instruction of God…….And God in His infinite mercy still fulfilled His divine plan through the Seed(Christ) of Abraham the seed of Adam.

The blessing is not a material blessing, rather material blessing is a fruit of the blessing.
As many as will accept Christ as their personal Lord and saviour, they are automatically given access to the blessing and the fruits of the blessing.
We must prioritize building ourselves and many up through the Word of God’s Grace until we attain the fullness of Christ, it is the fullness of God that maketh one to prosper.
NEVER TRADE THE BLESSING FOR THE FRUIT OF THE BLESSING!!!!
Without a tree, there can be no fruit. Without the blessing of the Lord(fullness of Christ)there can be no true prosperity.
ETERNAL FATHER WE THANK YOU FOR GIVING US ALL THAT PERTAINS TO LIFE AND GODLINESS THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST!!!!
HELP US TO STAY IN YOUR BLESSING CONTINUALLY THAT WE MAY BEAR FRUITS THAT WILL REMAIN.
