AWAKE LOVE IN ITS PROPER TIME

This week on Burning Hearts we are going to be touching on what it means to awaken love at the proper time for it to be beneficial not just to you but to the entire creation.
Here and there, many have unknowingly awakened and given love to their own detriment without realizing that even LOVE operates within principles.
80% of the issues many face are as a result of awakening their love wrongly because they lack the proper revelation to guide them.
The scripture gives us clear ways of how, when and where to awaken our love and if we are not humble to learn from the light of scripture, we will continually wander in trial and error with nothing to hold on to in the long run.
It is written in the Song of Solomon 8:4

Oh let me warn you Sisters in Jerusalem: Don’t excite love, don’t stir it up, until the time is right____and you are ready.

Promise me O women of Jerusalem not to awaken love until the time is right

I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem,
That ye stir not up, nor awake my love,Until he please.

Young women of Jerusalem, swear to me that you will not awaken love or arouse love before its proper time.

Many do not understand that the goal of the enemy is to corrupt all that is pure
Love is pure and whatever is pure becomes glaringly attractive even to the most undiscerning of men
That is why the preacher warns in the Song of Solomon 8:4 saying;

Promise me O women of Jerusalem not to awaken love until the time is right
Before we dive into when the right time to stir up or awaken love is, we must understand the different types of love and capture the context of the scripture.
The Hebrew word used for love there is AHAVAH which means deep intense and affectionate love. It also refers to the love God has for mankind. But in this context, Solomon is pointing to the love between two people of opposite sex, with demand on the female or the bride.
Other Hebrew Words for Love include;
🔑Hesed; Covenant Love.
🔑Dod; Romantic or passionate love.
🔑Racham; Compassionate and tender love.
🔑Rea; Friendship and Companionship.
🔑Chavah; Familial love and connection.
🔑Yedid; Endearing love.
🔑Ahab; Brotherly Love.
🔑Shalom: Wholeness, love expressed through peace.
AHAVAH is the Word used for Love in the scripture above which means; Deep affection or selfless love.
However, by prophetic interpretation, we can use that scripture to explain our relationship with God as we are His Church(Bride).
We can also take lessons from that scripture for our daily living with men because in the real sense….
Whatsoever we do to the least of our brethren we do unto the Lord.

DO NOT AWAKEN DEEP AFFECTION AND SELFLESS LOVE FOR SOMEONE OR SOMETHING WHEN IT IS NOT THE PROPER TIME, THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES TO IT.
Many of us have awaken deep affection for things and people that ended up destroying us in ways we cannot imagine, they may look and sound good but is it not written that to every purpose under the heaven there’s a time and season?

Only the Love for God and the Love of God is not bound to time. This should make us think.
If we must awaken deep affection and selfless love for anything or anyone under heaven, we must work within the principles of proper timing so we don’t end up casting pearls among swines….(Read this again)
So many times, many good deeds or selfless acts done by people to people have turned out to become the very things used to accuse and destroy those who offered those selfless acts.
O women of Jerusalem (O bride of Christ who is a citizen of the city of peace) do not awaken deep affection and selfless acts when the time is not right.
This world and its dark schemes have programmed the lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh and the pride of life to become love instead. Turning the lust of the eyes to love of the glittering things, lust of the flesh to love of the flesh and pride of life to love of self.
And all this is to make sure that deep affection and selfless acts are awakened at the wrong time or misdirected.
Love (deep affection and selfless acts) when awakened at the wrong time is like a beast of prey set lose out of its cage untamed. The result is always damaging.
How then do we awaken love when it is not its proper time?
When you give deep affection and selfless acts to anything or anyone above God, YOU ARE AWAKENING LOVE AT THE IMPROPER TIME.
GOD CREATED TIME, LET HIM BE IN CHARGE OF YOUR LOVE BY SETTING YOUR TIMING THROUGH THE LEADING OF HIS SPIRIT.
We should learn to stir up or excite our love for something or someone through the lens of scripture.
Love is sacrifice. But this world will tell you otherwise.
Christ Himself speaking says whoever wishes to be the greatest among us must be servant of all.
That is a selfless act of love that cannot be understood by the mere euphoric emotion of this world’s definition of love.
Many of us have been in abusive relationship with the opposite sex because we awakened love for that person without putting God first.
When the world projects pornography to the general masses, they are awakening love before its proper time to cloud many and shift their focus from loving the creator to the polluted loving of the created.
When our relationship with God is right, it will reflect in our relationship with ourselves.
Have you awakened love before its proper time and you are paying for it?
There’s good news for you my friend, Jesus Christ, the Love incarnate of God is here to relief you and show you the true way of love….or should we say the more excellent way as written in 1st Corinthians 13.
Cast all your cares upon Him for He cares deeply for you even up to the point of death.
Love awakened at the right dies to lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, pride of life and seeks to do the will of God. Jesus showed us how.
This season of love, we must learn to awaken our deep affection and selfless acts for God first then for things that matter(God’s kingdom and His righteousness) and we will escape the corruptions of this present World.
ETERNAL FATHER, YOU ARE LOVE PERSONIFIED, GUIDE AND TEACH US YOUR WAYS FOR IN YOU IS THE VERY SECRET OF LIFE AND PEACE.
SHOW US THE WAY OF LOVE THAT WE MAY SHOW OTHERS. THANK YOU LORD JESUS.
