THE NEED FOR SPIRITUAL MINDEDNESS IN OUR WORLD

Blissful salutations family.
This week on Burning Hearts the Lord God is pointing us to the ultimate need for true understanding in partnering with His Spirit through been Spiritually Minded.
Our Father in the Lord, Apostle Danjuma Musa Gaksu has taken out the time to teach us and reveal the mind of God to us through partnership and it has been a mind opening encounter thus far.
The world we live in is drowning in all kinds of circumstances that is engineered to choked spiritual mindedness in mankind.

Hear this;
It is not only the love of money that drives men to all kinds of evil, the lack of been Spiritually Minded also does.
Scripture speaking in Romans 8:5-8 says expressly that;
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Key emphasis here is to be SPIRITUALLY MINDED because it is what produces life and peace!!
Our own understanding cannot please God.
One of the ideal ways to cultivate spiritual mindedness or to mind the things of the Spirit is to partner with Spirit.
Proverbs 3:5-8 echoes this, saying;
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
_And lean not unto thine own understanding._
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him,
And he shall direct thy paths.
7 Be not wise in thine own eyes:
Fear the LORD, and depart from evil.
8 It shall be health to thy navel,
And marrow to thy bones.
DO NOT LEAN, RELY AND DEPEND ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING!!!!🤔
Your own understanding and the mind of the Spirit are worlds apart, just as God’s ways and thoughts are from yours. Therefore depending on your own understanding is like initiating a self sabotaging plan in the guise of progress.
Acknowledging the Lord means to partner with the Spirit and He will direct your paths unto life and peace.
But this world will teach you to be wise in your eyes and depend on your own understanding without partnering with the Spirit, all in a bid to choke you from the benefits of Spiritual Mindedness.
Scripture already gave us a heads up that the carnal mind (one’s own understanding) is in enmity with God and cannot be subjected to the law of God.
Why then does everything in the world revolve around disregarding God’s command?
It is because there’s a war against life and peace, the very things that been Spirit Minded guarantees.
Everywhere one turns to, there’s an indirect hostility and distractive strategies against prayer and the revelation of the Word of God. And these two are the bedrock of Spiritual Mindedness.
Scripture reveals to us in 1st Corinthians 14:14-15 saying;
14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also.
I PRAY WITH THE SPIRIT, THEN WITH THE UNDERSTANDING.
This is putting the Spirit first before your understanding.
One of the ways to subject our understanding (mind) to the understanding(mind) of the Spirit is to pray in an unknown tongue (pray with the Spirit).
Key emphasis is that Paul puts Praying with the Spirit first before Praying with his understanding in the verse 15.
What then does it mean to be SPIRITUALLY MINDED?
To be spiritually minded is to mind the things of Spirit. God is a Spirit and not just a Spirit but the Father of Spirits and in communicating with Him, the limits of our understanding is exposed.
To be spiritually minded is to be led by the Spirit of God which is the Word of God. The Word of God is Spirit and is Life….hence to be spiritually minded is life and
peace.
To be spiritually minded is to partner with the Spirit by acknowledging God in all our ways and allowing Him to direct our paths.
To be spiritually minded is to abstain from evil through the help of God.
To be spiritually minded is to love everything that is the opposite of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life…. yesssssssss…….The Love of the Spirit opposes the lust of the flesh, the Singleness of the eyes on the Spirit opposes the lust of the eyes and the humility of the Spirit opposes the pride of life.

This world is in dire need of those who are Spiritually Minded to stir the course of events towards life and peace.
Many are lacking in vigor and zeal in the things of God because they do not mind the things of the Spirit.
That relationship is lacking life and peace because the Mind of the Spirit is lacking.
That Job is lacking in life and peace because the mind of the Spirit is lacking.
That business, that education, that activity, that initiative, that endeavor are all slowly killing something in you because Spiritual Mindedness is lacking.
Not all that glitters is gold but the world will still blind you with glittering distractions to keep you from accessing the true treasures of Spiritual Mindedness.
👁️MAN IS A PRODUCT OF THE THINGS HE MINDS.
MIND THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT ABOVE ALL THINGS!!!
This world, your world, my world, our world needs the light of life and you are that light that should shine in the darkness of this present age.
Many might not admit, but they love it when they see one who stands outside the status quo. They might greet you with hostility at first but beneath their hostility is an unspoken wish to be like that one.
LEAN NOT ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING MY FRIENDS, DO NOT COMPROMISE THE GIFT OF GOD FOR THE GLITTERING DISTRACTIONS OF THIS WORLD…..REAL GOLD IS IN THE SPIRIT……AND THAT IS WHY SCRIPTURE DRAWS OUR ATTENTION TO THE STREETS OF GOLD.
ETERNAL FATHER, WE ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR ALL ENCOMPASSING GRACE IN OUR LIVES CONTINUALLY.
HELP US TO MANIFEST YOUR LIFE AND YOUR PEACE THAT SURPASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING BY MIND THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT ALWAYS.
