UNDERSTANDING AND LIVING BY THE IDENTITY THE LORD HIMSELF GAVE HIS HOUSE

Greetings family.
There are so many ways to identify a true house of the Lord but there’s one way the Lord Himself has given as an eternal identity from which all others draw their strength from.
Before we reveal and dive into understanding that identity, it is important to note that the House of the Lord is not just the physical structure where men gather to fellowship, it is also referring to the man.
Our bodies are the temple of God and has been prepared to host the possibilities of God in the physical realm.
We are the House of the Lord, the mountain of the Lord’s house and the lively stones built up to offer up spiritual sacrifice unto God as written in 1st Peter 2:5
“ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ”
What then is the Identity proclaimed by God Himself of His House that all other identity comes under?
We must see it from the lens of scripture together
It is written in Isaiah 56:7
“even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.”
The identity the Lord has given His House, His Church, His Mountain, His Dwelling Place, His Temple is “HOUSE OF PRAYER “
🗣️🔥🔥PAZALAHI MAHALAHI VAKALAHI RUHULAHI
This is the first way of identifying a true house of the Lord before any other way ( Think about this for a minute)..
When you are done thinking, you will realize that the strength of every other way of identification depends on PRAYER!!!
For example, if we call it the House of Love, it is Prayer that strengthens our Love for God and for Man. We cannot love appropriately outside prayer. Love is Sacrifice….and genuine heart felt prayer is the purest example of Sacrifice.
Call it the House of Holiness, Prayer still plays a pivotal role in sanctifying us because it give us the spiritual stamina to express our sonship in all the realms!!!
As a matter of consideration;
🔑When we worship, it is a form of prayer
🔑When we build ourselves and people up, it is a form of prayer
🔑When we teach the Word, it is a form of prayer
🔑When we fast, it is also prayer
The examples are almost endless and that’s why it is important that we approach the understanding of the purpose of the House of the Lord from the platform of a House of Prayer!!!!
Hear this;
God receives every genuine service we offer to Him and to man in the Kingdom as a form of Prayer!!
MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL NATION!!!!
And because our bodies are His House, the scripture tells us in Romans 12:1;
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service“
PRAYER IS SACRIFICE!!!!!
Christ speaking in the Gospel says men ought to pray and not to faint because He knew the Identity of His own House in the Spirit and Physical.
And ofcourse He showed us by becoming a living example of that while He was on earth even up to death on the cross…HE STILL PRAYED!!!!!!!!
MY HOUSE SHALL BE CALLED A HOUSE OF PRAYER FOR ALL NATION!!!!
When the enemy wants to steal, kill, destroy, limit, damage, attack the Influence and impact of the HOUSE OF THE LORD, he attacks the identity; PRAYER!!!
🗣️🔥🔥PARATAKELI MUVARANDIZ YALUZIHILIKANAYAH
This has been his tactics from ages past and it does not get old. Many of us just gets brainwashed and condition to dislike praying because the devil has invested so much to attack the Prayer!!
🗣️🔥BRALUSADAI MILAHANU VELIZELI
Christ gave us a prophetic picture of the how to understand, preserve and live by this identity when He purified the temple in
Matthew 21:12-13;
12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,
13 and said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.
🗣️🔥🔥KILAZILAMAI RELOZEVEDE
This is a prophetic picture of what most us has done to our bodies (the temple of the Holy Ghost)
Many have sold themselves to all manner of pleasures that is not in line with the will of God and bought all kinds of lifestyles, distractions and schemes that chokes prayer…….
Hear this;
We must grow from having a prayer life to knowing that prayer is THE LIFE!!
Benjamin Franklin once said;
“Many a man thinks he is buying pleasure, not knowing that in reality he is selling himself to it”
And so by neglecting our identity as the House of Prayer, many of us have turned our bodies to the habitation of thieves…..and ofcourse the devil comes to steal….(you know the rest)..
God is calling you and I this season to know and live by the identity He has given us in the Spirit; WE ARE HIS HOUSE OF PRAYER!!!!!
🗣️🔥🔥FEKOSALAVRANIYAKO
If we must live beyond conforming to the world, we must present our bodies (His house ) as a living sacrifice
If we must live a life of sanctity and continually birth His purposes on the earth, we must continue on the path of Holiness in priesthood and Pray without ceasing.
If we must quench not the Spirit and despise not prophesying, we must Pray without ceasing.
The effective mark and identity of a true Christian life is anchored on Prayer!!!
That is why thanksgiving is also prayer because in the end everything we have was given to us as a gift from above and we cannot but pray with Thanksgiving.
ETERNAL FATHER WE THANK YOU FOR REVEALING YOURSELF TO US FRESH AND FRESH EVERY DAY.
THANK YOU FOR THE IDENTITY YOU HAVE ORDAINED FOR US BY YOUR BENEVOLENCE. MAY WE KNOW AND LIVE BY IT TO THE GLORY OF YOUR NAME FOREVER!!!!!!
