TAMING THE UNTAMED

THE PHYSICAL SHAPE OF THE TONGUE IN OUR MOUTH IS POINTED LIKE A SWORD TO REMIND US OF THE GREAT POWER WE HAVE

With Great Power comes great responsibility and we are called to exercise control over all TONGUES (including ours) this season. A lot depends on it.

The scripture gives us a picture saying out of the mouth of Christ goes forth a sharp sword;

(Revelation 19:15)
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

This is not a literal sword but a Prophetic picture of the tongue in His Mouth with which He speaks the Word of God which is a Sword of the Spirit!!!!!!!

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God
(Ephesians 6:17)

In order words we can say according to scripture that;
Out of His mouth goes forth  the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God, and the tool for speaking the Word is  the Tongue

So in our mouths are swords  with which we can kill or preserve life, unite or divide, build or destroy and so on…..

Pay attention because as our eyes open we will begin to understand the great responsibility God has laid on us through the use of our tongue.

Blessed be God who has given us everything pertaining to life and Godliness in Christ.

One of the things pertaining to life and Godliness, God has given us is our
TONGUE!!!!

It is written in Proverbs 15:4

A wholesome tongue is a tree of life:
But perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

If a wholesome (pure, truthful) tongue is a tree of life then an unwholesome tongue is a tree of death!!!

So scripture speaking in Proverbs 18:21 also points us to the reality that;

Death and life are in the power of the tongue:
And they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

If scripture keeps saying this in various ways then every serious minded person should PAY ATTENTION TO THIS SWORD SHAPED TOOL IN THE MOUTH CALLED THE TONGUE!!!!

What is the Tongue?

Simply speaking, the Tongue is the Organ of Speech and Taste and so much more!!!!!!

James speaking shows us what the tongue is capable of;

James 3:5-8  says that;

5  Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

6  And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

7  For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

8  but the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.

So James also gives us a key  in Verse 2 saying:

For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.

🗣️🔥🔥PRANILAGOLOZA EFELI MALAHANA RIGUZA KRANAYAH

The first sign of self control is tongue control

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain
(James 1:26)

So we are called to control and deal with every tongue including ours that will stand in the way of what God has purposed for us this season.

1st Peter 3:10

He that will love life,
And see good days,
Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips that they speak no guile

A great responsibility is placed on us this season and a secret is given to us towards life.

Scripture says every tongue that rises against us in judgement we should condemn. If we don’t we are given those tongues opportunity to cut us off like a sword.

One of the things the Lord hates and is an abomination to Him is a LYING TONGUE for a reason

There are so many scriptural citing about the tongue and its symbolic similarity to a sword(Proverbs 12:8)

A WHOLESOME TONGUE IS A TREE OF LIFE!!!!!!!!!

GUARD AND USE IT WISELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

USE THIS SWORD TO BLESS NOT CURSE

USE IT TO UNITE NOT DIVIDE

USE IT TO LOVE NOT HATE

USE IT TO BUILD NOT DESTROY

USE IT PROPAGATE TRUTH NOT LIES

USE IT TO PRESERVE NOT DESTROY
