We are grateful to God for His many undeniable benefits lavished on us undeservingly.
This day and season as we focus on aligning the state of our hearts to God, let’s walk continually in the consciousness of this;
“GOD IS CALLING US TO A DIMENSION OF POVERTY HE HAS DESIGNED TO GIVE US ACCESS INTO THE UNSEARCHABLE RICHES OF CHRIST”

“For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich”

Hear this;
When it is said that “….HE(CHRIST) BECAME POOR THAT WE MIGHT THROUGH HIS POVERTY BE RICH..” it is beyond material wealth……..
it means God left His Heavenly Glory and decided to subject Himself to the limitations of His own creation(to even die) so that in doing so we might access His Glory in Christ. This is His Sacrifice.

This dimension of Poverty has a lot to teach us concerning the character of God.
God becoming Human in the person of Christ is Him becoming poor for our sakes, stripping Himself of His Glory and Majesty, coming through the womb of a woman and experiencing the limitations of this realm, all for our sake
Do not pass over this lightly but meditate on the enormity of this Sacrifice and a lot will become clear to you.
The scripture in 2nd Corinthians 8 : 9 points that
“… THOUGH HE WAS RICH.. THAT FOR YOUR SAKE HE BECAME POOR ….”
These riches is beyond mere earthly possessions and influence. Christ was not financially, mentally, socially and materially poor on earth, even during His ministry He had rich friends, He could ride on a horse He didn’t pay for, He could command money from the mouth of a fish, He is well read with a sound mind that He could challenge the scribes and philosophers in the temple, He could multiply five loaves of bread and two fishes to feed people and did a lot of philanthropical works.
One who is poor cannot pull all this up. It tells us that the dimension of Poverty Christ endured was beyond this realm🤔

Though He was Rich in Glory, Honour, Majesty and Immortality, He decided to empty Himself of all this by becoming Human for our sakes.
Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!!!!
Christ is showing us a key to access unsearchable riches here.
It is a Mindset Christ walked with that prompted God to honour Him.
It is written in Philippians 2: 5-9
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Verse 6 – 8 reveals to us the details of “HIS BECOMING POOR”
Then Verse 9 – 11 crowns it up by telling us the RICHES God honoured Him with.

10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
HALLOW BE THY NAME O GOD!!!!!!!
Scripture says because He chose to walk in this dimension of Poverty, God honoured Him by giving Him a Name above all Names that is Named.
TRUE RICHES ARE HIDDEN IN NAME, NOT PHYSICAL POSSESSIONS👁️
Is it not written in Proverbs 22 : 1 that;
“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches,
And loving favour rather than silver and gold”

Christ became POOR IN SPIRIT and HIS REWARD IS the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN👁️
What does it mean to be Poor In Spirit?
It simply means to be totally dependent on God’s Spirit and humble. To have space for more, to be teachable and obedient to God. To be hungry for God and long for His infilling always.
Even physically, the poor are always hungry and dependent. This is teaching us something profound.
It is written;
“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for their’s is the kingdom of heaven”
(Matthew 5 : 3)
The Kingdom of Heaven carries in it the TRUE RICHES OF CHRIST and one among them is the NAME OF CHRIST.
YESSSSSSSSSSSS
With His Name we ask anything and we have it!!! That is TRUE RICHES!!!!!

God has become poor for our sake to show us the way to true riches and He is turn telling to continually walk in this dimension of poverty so that we can access His True Riches.
If Christ did not become poor for our sakes so that through His poverty we might become rich, the Way to these riches would have remain closed to us forever!!!!
BUT THANKS BE TO GOD WHO THROUGH HIS MERCIES HAVE OBTAINED FOR US AN ETERNAL INHERITANCE!!!!!
Let us remain poor in spirit too, not just for our sakes but for others too that we might show them the way as Christ did.
🗣️🔥ETERNAL FATHER, YOUR WORD IS TRUTH AND THROUGH IT YOU HAVE SANCTIFIED US, MAY WE WALK CONTINUALLY IN POVERTY OF SPIRIT BEFORE YOU SO THAT WE CAN HAVE ACCESS TO THE UNSEARCHABLE RICHES YOU HAVE PURPOSED FOR US IN CHRIST.
HELP US WHERE WE HAVE ALLOWED THE STATE OF OUR HEARTS TO ROB US OF YOUR TRUE RICHES.
